Native Plant Inventory for Residential Single Lots

If your new home has more than 14,000 sq. ft. of proposed grading, and the total lot area greater than 36,000 sq. ft, or a request is made by your subdivision for a NPPP* you will be required to have an approved plan before you can begin building.

Endangered plants such as the Saguaro, Pineapple Cactus, Ironwood, and a variety of other plants must be located and documented as Preserve in Place (PIP), Remove from Site (RFS) or Transplant on Site (TOS). We are qualified to work on the “Set aside” method, which requires that 30% of your property be designated as Native Open Space (NOS). An official Aerial photo of the area, a current approved site plan, a Mitigation Table and a completed NPPP Application Form with an Activity Permit Number are also required.

We can work with both builders and property owners on review, documentation, preparation and submittal of this information to the Planning Division of the Pima County Development Services Department to ensure that the process is done as quickly and as accurately as possible.

Please contact us or have your builder contact us if you would like further information on how we can help.
